Kids grow up fast! They are our greatest treasures. You do not want to miss out on having childhood portraits taken during those special years because once they are gone, they are gone. People always ask what is the best age to start having professional portraits taken of your child. After the age of one, it is recommended to have at least one professional photograph taken every year until your child turns four. After four, it is recommended to have one portrait taken every couple of years. But, every family is different, and every child is different. To some, certain ages are more special than others. Children change constantly at every age is so fleeting.
If you have a child model or child actor, you will need to have a professional child model or child acting shot portfolio. You will want a child headshot to show your child’s true essence, smile and personality. Sometimes a casting director will book based on a child’s headshot alone, so it is important to capture as much of your child’s true spirit on film.
Child photography, kid’s portraits, child modelling portraits and child acting headshots is a specialized genre which takes patience, skill and creativity.
